About Us

          Sundry Photography is the small business venture of husband and wife photographers Derek and Nikki Carlson. Nikki has always been a visual artist, working with drawings, paintings, graphic design and computer art. Derek is a musician and composer, he plays multiple instruments and hopes to make a living composing for films, and/or selling his music independently. Together they found a shared interest in Photography where they could meet on neutral artistic ground and nurture and influence one another. They never looked back.

            Sundry Photography's name came from when we started compiling a 'Best Of' compilation of our pictures; when we looked at what we had, we found a huge variety of different subjects, themes, and styles. We're pleased with many of our pictures, but we both still have a lot of growth to do, and we look forward to where it will take us!
